How To Make Lavender Simple Syrup

Prep: 5 mins

Cook: 15 mins

Steep Time: 60 mins

Total: 80 mins

Servings: 24 servings (15oz bag)

Yield: 1 1/2 cups

Steps to Make It

1- Open our Lavender Sugar- For Simple Syrup bag (15 oz)

2- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add the bag

3- Reduce the heat and stir in the mix until fully dissolved

4- Simmer for about 15 minutes

5- Remove from the heat and allow to cool and steep for at least 1 hour or longer, until the flavor is to your liking. Strain out the lavender. Pour the lavender syrup into a bottle and keep in the refrigerator. Mix the syrup into your favorite drinks and enjoy

Tips:

  1. Choose the Right Container: To ensure the longevity of your lavender syrup, opt for a clean, airtight glass bottle or jar. Glass containers are ideal as they prevent the syrup from absorbing any plastic or metallic flavors that could alter its taste.

  2. Refrigeration is Key: Lavender syrup should always be stored in the refrigerator. The cool temperature helps preserve its freshness and flavor for an extended period.

  3. Keep Away from Light and Heat: Sunlight and heat can degrade the quality of lavender syrup over time. Store the container in a dark and cool place, away from direct sunlight or any heat sources like stovetops or ovens.

  4. Check for Spoilage: Regularly inspect the syrup for any signs of spoilage, such as mold, off-smell, or unusual texture. If you notice any of these, discard the syrup immediately.
